Weekly weigh-in

Thursday 17 May 2012
It took every ounce of willpower I have to hop on the scales this morning. It has not been the greatest week. In addition to exceeding my calorie count every day this week, exercise has been virtually non existent.

There was also the mystery virus that gave me a fever, headaches and feelings of utter exhaustion. Finally, TOM is rapidly approaching and the bloated sluggish heavy feeling has
me wanting to avoid the scales.

Move It! May activities have involved forcing myself to potter around the apartment - small bursts of activity before retreating to the bed for rest. My home hasn't been this clean and organised for quite some time.

Back to this morning, I somehow convinced myself getting on the scales would be for the best - at least I'd know how much work I've got ahead of me.

Happy to report I've actually lost weight. Another 200 grams, putting me back under 107. It's a right kick up the butt and hopefully over the week ahead I'll be full of vitality and can exercise properly.
